Hand-dyed wool is a craft technique. Each skein is hand-dyed, making it unique. Skeins from the same dye bath may have color variations. It is recommended to alternate skeins for a harmonious result.
Hand washing recommended and lay flat to dry.

I bought the Crayon de Bois shade in DK Sock and in Mohair et Soie to knit a man's hat with both yarns.
Finally, I only used the DK for the hat (I was afraid that the result with the Mohair & Soie would be a bit too fluffy and shiny for a man. So I happily saved the Mohair & Soie for myself 😀) and the result is superb!
The shade perfectly lives up to its name. It's a beautiful gray with lovely nuances (gives a slightly heathered effect without having to blend two yarns), with a silvery side (no yellow or blue reflections) and luminous, which pairs very easily with other shades. In DK Sock, it was pure bliss to knit with, the hat slipped through my fingers in less than 2 days *_*!
